Parody Song Title:

"Ramadan Song"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Ramadan is the holy month of fasting in the religion of Islam. Considered to be Islam's Hannukah.
Put your turban on
Here comes Ramadan
So much funadan
To celebrate Ramadan
Ramadan is 31 days lasting
Instead of one day of presents, we have a whole month of fasting

When you feel like the only kid in town without a Christmas tree
Here's a list of people who are Muslim just like you and me
Muhammed Ali reads from the Koran
So does that German chemist who discovered elemental Boron

Guess who takes the Hajj together every year
Coral from Real World and Tupac Shakeer
Malcolm X's Muslim, Lou Alcinder as well
Put them together, they sure look swell

You don't need that "Jingle Bell Rock" or the "Hannukah Song"
'Cause you can knock a pillar out with good ol' Ramadan

Put your turban on
It's time for Ramadan
The kid that mows your lawn
Celebrates Ramadan

Osama Bin Laden, not a Muslim
But guess who is? Chewbacca's eldest son- he converted
We got Cat Stevens and the white rapper Everlast
Hakeem Olajuwan's Muslim- but he left his game in the past

Some people think that Ghandi is
Well he's not, but guess who is
The guitarist from Blondie
So many Muslims are in showbiz
Don King isn't, but I heard Mike Tyson is

Tell your friend Jonathon
It's time for Ramadan
I hope I get a harmonidan
On this lovely, lovely Ramadan
So drink your egg nogadan
And eat your fruit cakeadan
If you really, really wannadan
Have a happy, happy, happy, happy Ramadan
Happy Ramadan

I am a muslim and this is not funny at all , us muslims we take our religion seriously we don't make fun of it ... ramdan is 30 or 29 days long , muslims don't drink. and it's not wrong if muslims don't celebrate christian or jewish holidays .. do christians or jews celebrate any of our holidays ??? I think this song is insulting to muslims ..and i don't find it funny at all ...

The guy above (Muslim July 30 2004) does not speak for all of us. Some of us have senses of humour. I suggest that we render a little Islamic justice on my brother and cut off his right arm so that he is not capable of writing this offensive drivel that sheds a bad light on all of us.

As a Muslim, I've gotta say that this is a good song! I thought I'd be offended, but no! I'm giving it 5-5-5!

Actually "Lou Alcinder [sic]" is now known as Hakeem Abdul-Jabbar.
