Mike & Junior please explain the criteria you use when selecting entries for awards. You had some great picks. Seems to me that if the catagories are limited and I can think of at least 25 - 30 excelent parodies that would not fall into any of them. If you'd like I can go to the other board for your reply ... Wild man, as assistant to the amiright awards (hehe, I gave myself a post lol), Ill answer this. The current awards up are only round 1...there will be more rounds, and more catorgories.....you can look back on the first and second amiright awards to see what I mean.......I think Im gonna change my posititon, I dont like that title....
When are the other rounds? Months? Days?

I have one more question and please give an honest answer. I write a Chalupa Award Parody about my personal favorites at the end of each month. I enjoy doing tributes to the other writers. In the guidelines it is clearly forbidden. But I have noticed that I am not the only offender so I have continued to do so. Especialy since the other authors seem pleased with the result. I'm interested in knowing what Chucky G and the editors at Amiright think of this, especialy since you go through so much time and effort to produce the Official Amiright Awards.
Just to let you know, other than in the 1st amIright awards, I had no say in choosing the nominees...Billy & Mike do that.
THe next round should be Sunday......anyway, Wild man, I enjoy your Chalupa awards, and I urge you to keep on doing them. The "official" amiright awards are just another awards thing, they are kind of independant of Chucky G and the amiright editors.....

Mentioning other Amrighters, even parodying them, is like double-parking: It's against the rules, but people do it anyway. Besides, it's almost always meant in fun. "We fired our puns..."
Parodies about other amIright parody authors is against the rules, but if it's not done as an attack parody, I generally allow it to go through anyways.. For examples of attack parodies, search for parodies about William Tong, though there have been others, he's the most obvious target.
