American Idol who? Is THAT why people are all talking about this Ruben and Clay person?

I believe Americans are getting sick of AI, whiny Seacrest and those overbearing judges. And Kelly should NOT be getting over 1,000 spins. The recording companies exposed her weak voice.

Kelly who? Is THAT that girl that keeps singing about 'a Moment Like This?' I swear, I must've been under a rock- I thought she was just another flash-in-the-pan one hit wonder we'll all forget about next month.

Yes, Sychronos, that is the same Kelly who won last year's American Idol. And yes, we will probably forget about her within a few weeks.

In my opinion, I thought FOX should have left American Idol a "summer event". If the second show was running now during the Summer of '03, (as the first one was last Summer '02), it (still) would be huge. When they rushed into the second one over the winter and then "American Juniors", it made for overexposure. Kids, the main viewing audience, resonate with music that is associated with good times (summer/no school/good times/hearing and seeeing American Idol music). If they did this show once a year/summer...I believe that the show would have had a very long run for many years....Because they tried too much too fast, it is now on it's way out.

This is FOX we're talking about. Greed has no bounds. All they see is the next bubblegum music cash cow...once it's lost it's flavor, SPIT IT OUT and get a new piece

Oh, I'm sure they're all very talented, regardless of what that dork Simon says. The problem is talent comes dime-a-dozen. You can find five guys who can dance and sing, lump 'em together, and make a boy band hit that tops the charts for a week or two. But then, no one ever hears from them again. STAYING power is what they're trying to find here. The people like Madonna, Tina Turner, the MUSICIANS that have been in the game for years. They were hoping that by finding a warm place with Americans in this 'Americal Idol' routine, they might be able to artificially create that kind of vibe. But it didn't work.

Actually, I think the only reason people like madonna, is because she is well....Madonna. Theres nothing special about her, and the only reason she stands out is because of her actions, not her actual musical ability.

Madonna can't sing, can't act, can't dance. She is a waste of skin. She reinvents herself with every album trying to find what works for her. When is she gonna get it? Nothing works because she sucks.
