Bob Dylan, "Sad-Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands"
Misheard Lyrics:
Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands
With the sad-eyed prophet say that no man comes
My warehouse has my Arabian drums
Should I leave them by your gate?
Or, sad-eyed lady, should I wait?
Original Lyrics:
Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands
Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes
My warehouse eyes, my Arabian drums
Should I leave them by your gate
Or, sad-eyed lady, should I wait?
I personally like my version better, so when I sing (or perform) it, I sing "has" instead of "eyes".
