The Beatles, "Ticket To Ride"
She's got a ticket to Rye,
and she don't care
She's got a ticket to ride, and she don't care
The following story appears to be false according to several Beatles authorities on the web: 'Ticket to Ride' is actually sung 'Ticket to Rye' as in, a city in England. The Beatles cut the record, it was confusing to U.S. audiences, the record execs changed the title and lyrics. The song was never re-recorded. Listen carefully--You hear NO 'd' sound in the word. Thus, Rye *isn't* a misheard lyric. This is according to Casey Kasem
