Faron Young "Assault"
On September 17, 1972, Faron Young was a featured artist at a country-western music concert in Clarksburg, West Virginia. At some point during the show, Young grabbed a six-year-old girl (whom he accused of spitting on him) and spanked her hard. By the time the girl’s parents could summon law enforcement, Young and his entourage had left the Clarksburg show to attend their next gig. The troupe’s tour bus was stopped on U.S. Highway 50, and Young was taken into custody. He appeared before a justice of the peace in Wood County, and he was fined $24 plus $11 court costs.

What A Band is Best Known For (aside from their music) -> Latest Entries

"Delta Lady," Lights
She was born as Valerie Anne Poxleitner and at age 18 she legally changed her name to 'Lights'. Yet there was already a signed band with that name, so having her name officially changed was a way to use it despite a possible copyright clash. Go figure. Anyway since she married Beau Bokan of the metalcore band Blessthefall and now she's Lights Bokan.

"Delta Lady," Lights
On her CDs and on the album covers, there's a funny circular logo that Lights uses. It's on all her releases.

"Delta Lady," Lights
Lights is a fan of the comic book genre. Her 2008 debut EP shows her hand-drawn comic style self-portrait on the cover, and her 2017 CD 'Skin and Earth' is a concept/story album with a comic book that she wrote and drew herself that ties in to it.

"New Model, No. 15," Metallica
On August 21, 1987 Metallica released an EP of covers of 70s and 80s glam, heavy metal and punk songs 'The $5.98 E.P. : Garage Days Revisited' on LP and cassette. The CD version was titled, 'The $9.98 CD: Garage Days Revisited'. All these versions had a sticker commanding, 'DO NOT PAY MORE!'. These same songs were released on the 1998 'Garage Inc.' compilation which had some really awful crap on it. The EP was re-released in 2018 by itself as 'The $5.99 E.P. : Garage Days Re-Revisited'.

"Terminal 3," Linkin Park
When the song is played backwards, you can hear Chester screaming "You should brush your teeth and you should wash your hands!" Hence the song's title, which is "Public Service Announcement" with the words in reverse order.
