Misheard Lyrics:
She danced by me, then fainted on James!
Original Lyrics:
She danced by me, in painted on jeans.
Story about this misheard lyric by: Annabelle: I thought it rather strange that Billy would sing about a woman dancing next to him, then suddenly fainting on some guy named James! To this day, I still hear it that way, at least the line in the beginning. The ending line I can hear clearly, even as it fades out is, "She danced by me in painted jeans.".

After the slow rock power ballad single success, they became one of several new wave pop rock bands that active to the present and have a greatest hit in the Grunge era with peaking at #3 on Billboard's Pop Chart. That success in the Seattle scene is similar to "I Live My Life for You" from FireHouse, a pop metal band where actually a Top 40 hit with peaking at #26 on Billboard's Pop Chart several years later.
