"Rock the Casbah," Clash
Misheard Lyrics:
Sharif don't like it
Rob the cash box! Rob the cash box!
Original Lyrics:
Sharif don't like it
Rock the Casbah! Rock the Casbah!
Story about this misheard lyric by: Tammy Wright: I thought these were the lyrics until I was 19 years old. I was born in '79.
Misheard Lyrics:
It's not like you drove an evil spirit to his side.
Original Lyrics:
It's not like you drove a hateful spear into his side.
Story about this misheard lyric by: Ryan Kaylor: I always heard the word spirit when hearing this song, like a major conjuring. I was using my own blood in the name of God and Jesus thinking the "miracles" were acts of God, but it was ancient Sumerian gods known as Baal answering multiple spells pretending to be God and I fell for it, and the results were catastrophic on multiple levels, so I feel I drove an evil spirit to his side, pretending to be on his side. They still interact with me to this day, and by the grace of God, although still, damaged I have been protected from the repercussions of using this "magic," regarding sacrifice and the "law" of what goes around comes around. I don't use blood anymore, but now I have to watch what I say and write, yet still falter on a daily basis, in my own anger, greed, and hatred towards the world.

It sounds like a wacky made-up word in a cartoon, not a name for a pop group. What is it supposed to mean anyway? Submitted by: Chris Chendo
Tones On Tail
This name makes absolutely no sense at all. I mean, if a dog had tones on a tail, it would look ridiculous. Submitted by: Anonymous Joe

"Clothes Off," Gym Class Heroes
The Lyrics:
We have to take our clothes off
We have to party all night
We have to take our clothes off
To have a good time
Imagine if you were sitting there in health class while the teacher was talking about abstinence. (or really anywhere they were talking about abstinence) I don't think the teacher would be very happy.
