Repetitive Lyrics:
"You're So Last Summer" by Taking Back Sunday
The Repetitive Lyrics:
If I'm just bad news,
Then you're a liar.
Then you're a liar.
Why They're Repetitive:
I didn't count how many times it says it, but it says it a lot.

Dated Lyrics:
"Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchell
The Dated Lyrics:
Took all the trees, and put 'em in a tree museum,
And charged all the people, a dollar and a half just to see 'em.
And charged all the people, a dollar and a half just to see 'em.
Why They're Dated:
$1.50 ("A Dollar and a half") is below the average admission price of most places now. Fittingly, later versions of the songs changed the line to "15 bucks a head"
Submitted by: Ra'akone
"Gasoline Alley" by Rod Stewart
The Dated Lyrics:
I'll put on my weddin' suit and catch the evening train
Ill be home before the milks upon the door
Ill be home before the milks upon the door
Why They're Dated:
The second line. While it is still done in some places, home milk delivery is not that common in North America any more, you want milk, you get it at a supermarket (although in some places, such as the UK, it's still done...this song however is about a place in Indiana)

Dirty Lyrics:
"Do I Stress You Out" by Alanis Morissette
The Dirty Lyrics:
Do I stress you out?
My sweater's on backwards
and inside out and you say:
"How appropriate."
My sweater's on backwards
and inside out and you say:
"How appropriate."
Why They're Dirty:
My guess is that whoever this song is about she must have had a sexual encounter with him at some point.

"Sexhibition" by Janet Jackson
The Dirty Lyrics:
I...cause I wanna sexplore you
I...put my hands up on you (babe)
I...wanna feel your sexplosion
I.. and I'm gonna take you on a sexcapade
I...put my hands up on you (babe)
I...wanna feel your sexplosion
I.. and I'm gonna take you on a sexcapade
Why They're Dirty:
Like Janet, aka Damita Jo, herself murmurs at the end of the song, "relax, it's just sex".

"Blew" by Nirvana
The Dirty Lyrics:
And if you wouldn't mind, I would like to blew
And if you wouldn't mind, I would like to lose
And if you wouldn't care, I would like to leave
And if you wouldn't mind, I would like to breathe
And if you wouldn't mind, I would like to lose
And if you wouldn't care, I would like to leave
And if you wouldn't mind, I would like to breathe
Why They're Dirty:
These are the correct lyrics. In some ways, however, they can be interpreted about sex, mainly the first line.

"Squeeze Box" by The Who
The Dirty Lyrics:
She goes, squeeze me, come on and squeeze me
Come on and tease me like you do
I'm so in love with you
Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night
She goes in and out and in and out and in and out and in and out
Come on and tease me like you do
I'm so in love with you
Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night
She goes in and out and in and out and in and out and in and out
Why They're Dirty:
The first part here, taken from the song's bridge, seems to suggest wanting certain acts of foreplay. The "in and out" part seems like a way of describing a sexual act. Supposedly the "squeeze box" in the song was about a woman's lover she was having an affair with.

"Stop" by Pink Floyd
Opening Lines:
Stop! I want to go home.
Comments:
From their 1979 The Wall album, used as a segue between "Waiting For The Worms" and "The Trial". It was one of the few songs in the movie version that was sung by Bob Geldof, who was portraying the main character Pink in his adult state (the other songs he sung were the two different versions of "In The Flesh", the first version that introduces us to the story, and the later version where Pink becomes delusional and fashions himself as a Hitler-type dictator).

For me it always comes down to what is a good song and i'm very old fashioned in the way that i like to make songs that have something classic about them whether you can play them with an orchestra or an electro synthesizer or an acoustic guitar.
In the past i've put myself in situations just to inspire me, I do kind of like life
I don't enjoy being a celebrity, I don't want any part of that or any part of that fame for fame... i'd actually rather die than be a celebrity slime!!!
