Way back in the stone ages of the Web, around 1994 or so, someone got the bright idea of pointing out the coolest, neatest site of the day on their website. When I wrote my first website in 1995 (ChuckyG's 80s Page now called inthe80s.com), I never dreamed I'd make a site that could earn that honor.

Flash forward ten years to October 9th, 2005, and somehow it happened. One of my websites is nominated for that honor, THIS ONE!

Thanks to all the people who have been contributing to all of my websites over the past ten years who helped make this happen. The design and functioning of the sites may be my doing, but without people sending in stuff, I wouldn't keep at it for so long.

If you visit Cool Site of the Day today, October 9th, you can vote for us and help us compete towards a "Cool Site of the Year" award. Most of the sites only score around a 6, so I hope we can at least match that. There's some tough competition though.
